Schools and Community Relations

                        I have learned that school and community are the mainsprings of effective and powerful forces that can create a wholesome climate for mutual gains and betterment. It it simply because schools can't be established without a community. The school consists of people which are the community.
                       
                        I have realized that in order to have an effective learning, the schools and the community must have a good relationship. Schools received help from the community. Schools sending knowledgeable people to the community to work.

                        As a future teacher, I will give importance to my community because they are the main elements of the society.

The 21st Century Teacher

            I have learned that traditional teaching and learning is changing to keep up with the rapid developments and changes with the expanding online learning environments. Students today are exposed with technologies where they can learn on it.
           
            I have realized that we must meet the standard and compete with that rapid changes in the technology. Teachers nowadays are not the only source of knowledge.

            As a future teacher we must be updated on the innovation of the new generation. We must not be complacent to what we already knew. Learning is a continuous process, we must be competitive enough to dwell and learned on the new learning provided by technologies.  

Lesson 5: Teaching as your Vocation, Mission and Profession

                          I have learned the difference of teaching as my vocation, mission and profession. Vocation means you are called for this profession. Mission means you are called to be a teacher and you are sent to accomplish. Profession is a service. Your work as a teacher is a profession you had chosen.
                         I realized that becoming a teacher requires long  and arduous years of preparation. We need to strive for  excellence. We cannot teach if we are lack in knowledge. We must be competitive enough for our learners.
 
                        As a future teacher, I will give a professional quality service to my learners. I will not waste their time sitting in the four corners of the classroom without learning acquired. It is my obligation to feed their minds in knowledge that are suit for them

Lesson 4: Values Formation and You

                      I  have learned that values are both taught and caught. We are taught by our parents on how to be a good individual. Values is very important wherever you go. Remember, attitude is more important than knowledge. It was caught since if we had committed a mistakes our parents corrects us.

                      I realized that in the teaching profession having a very good moral is essential. You cannot teach your students what is right if you yourself are not going right.

                      As a future teacher, I will taught my learners not just what on the book but to be a good human. Knowledge can easily acquire if you will exert more effort but values of one's child must be given an extra effort to form them a good citizen.

Lesson 3: The Foundational Principles of Morality and You

       I have learned that good moral is essential to every teachers. Teachers sets an example to every learners. Teachers play a vital role in every learners life. If teachers are doing some unnecessary actions, learners might adapt it and think that it is okay to do so because their teachers are doing it.
      I realized  that every action must be done carefully. Your one false move might affect the whole life of your learners.
      As a future teacher, I will always take a forward look of what actions should be done and not.

Lesson 2: Formulating Your Philosophy of Education

      I have learned that every student must be given an equal opportunity in learning. Every learners are capable in learning and must be guided to be on the right path. Student's are diversified in many factors. We must not do "labeling" to avoid misinterpretation and biases to the whole learners.

      I have realized that as a teacher it is our priority to facilitate our learners. Help them to develop their own competencies. 

      As a future teacher I will do my best to reach out my learners. Asking their concerns and provide an immediate solution for maximum learning.

Lesson 1: Your Philosophical Heritage

      I have learned the Seven Philosophies of Education. Essentialism where the teacher teach in traditional way. Progressivism where teachers help the learners to develop their competencies. Perennialism where it is centered around teachers, the students are not allow to interrupt on what the teachers discuss. Existentialism where the main concern is to help the students understand and appreciate themselves as unique individuals. Behaviorism where the schools are concerned with the behavior of the learners. Linguistic where the focus is to develop the communication skill of the students. Constructivism where they develop a motivated and independent learners with an equipped learning skills.

     I have realized that the seven philosophies of education are all essential. But in today's generation we focused on an Outcome-Based-Education where the students are not just evaluated on their cognitive level but also in their affective and  psychomotor skills. Some may not good academically but they perform very well in actual based system. in this system the students are given an equal opportunity to showcase their competencies (Progressivism).

     As a future teacher, I will give an equal opportunity to my learners on how they can show their own unique competencies. Students are diversified. Different folks, different strokes. So we must be lenient to all of our learners.
